Just News International was proud to be chosen as the media partner for the On-Schedule London Fashion Week ( LFW ) The Future of Fashion showcase, September 2025.
Hosted by Bullock Inclusion, The Future of Fashion Showcase took place on September 20, 2025, at the iconic St Mary’s Marylebone, London. Located in the heart of London, this 900 year old landmark
with its classical and ornate elegance made a perfect setting for this memorable event.

The Future of Fashion Catwalk Showcase stood out as a highlight of the LFW calendar, offering an
unforgettable blend of style, originality and representation. A driving force behind this showcase is Samanta Bullock, whose resilience and vision have been influential in reshaping the fashion landscape. Bullock, a noted positive disruptor in the industry, is dedicated to ensuring that fashion remains expressive, original, inclusive and representative for all demographics.

Following this second edition of The Future of Fashion Catwalk Showcase, I asked Samanta about her vision for The Future of Fashion, the journey of the initiative and her reflections on this year’s LFW Catwalk Showcase. She shared, “When we started The Future of Fashion, our goal was simple: to create a space where diversity, accessibility, and innovation could walk side by side on the runway. Each year, the show grows stronger and this year feels especially powerful. Being part of the official London Fashion Week calendar signifies both recognition of our mission and a reminder of how much more there is to do. The future, to me, is about building an industry where everyone, regardless of age, background, or ability, feels represented and celebrated. I’m excited to see how this platform will continue to evolve and inspire the next generation of designers and changemakers.”

It is truly uplifting to see the ongoing progress of this showcase. The Future of Fashion proves that true style is inclusive of all bodies and abilities.

The Future of Fashion Catwalk Showcase’s Impact

The Future of Fashion Catwalk Showcase redefines the fashion industry by promoting inclusivity and fostering a sustainability-focused environment. The evening’s panel featured insightful discussions with leaders in fashion, inclusion, and sustainability addressing the vital need for change in the industry.
The catwalk models wore bold, innovative, and ethically designed collections from talented up-and-coming designers from institutions like Central Saint Martins (CSM) and Royal College of Art (RCA) as well as other talented independent designers like Pharoah Farrukh of The House of Aristocrats. Pharoah Farrukh’s collection opened the catwalk with a trendy wow factor collection proving that everyone can bring on their A game. His designs were cheeky and captivating with some red carpet worthy outfits. Having introduced Pharoah to Samanta, I have believed in Pharoah’s talent for many years now and especially love his artistic mix of fabrics. Another stand out designer from the catwalk was the RCA fashion graduate Christina Tang with her tranformative and boldly expressive designs for wheelchair users which was refreshingly breathtaking and original. Her memorable designs were otherworldly and mesmerizing, showing a sculptural quality to her designs. Whether with the creative use of toilage or pattern cutting her designs showed great creative flair. I also loved the voluminous designs from RCA fashion graduate Mirey Dimerci with a collection that had a romantic edginess. Mirey Dimerci’s captivating collection was a magical combination of different textures, laces and domestic fabrics using different materials such as curtains. Mirey’s bold designs have a spiritual quality. The handmade macramè outfits from Be Flow also stood out on the catwalk with their gorgeous boho feminine designs. Founded by two sisters Dani Novaes and Bella Misturini
the Brazilian Boho brand Be Flow is a sensual celebration of the female form. The brand is sustainable and each handmade piece is wearable art.

Including catwalks showcasing designs, I am also impressed by the originality and bold designs of the talented sustainability designer Matilda Janosi of TildArt who had a presentation of one of her designs at the event. Tilly is another designer that I have championed for many years. I felt that she would be perfect for The Future of Fashion Showcase, so I set up a meeting at The Chelsea Arts Club and the rest is history. With a passion for upcycling, Tilly Janosi transforms discarded bicycle
inner tubes and organic fabrics into bold couture pieces, often accented with Swarovski crystals. Her Eco luxury fashion designs are feminine and avant-garde with woven garments that excentuate movement with flowing fringes. Tilly’s presentation was a Kinetic Wearable Art Installation which was set up by Technical Director Simon Goodman.

Samanta Bullock’s Mission

Through her community interest company, Bullock Inclusion, Samanta has tirelessly advocated for positive change in fashion. The Future of Fashion aims to provide an inclusive and accessible space for everyone, while also shedding light on the challenges encountered by those striving for sustainable and inclusive change.
Samanta, a former number one wheelchair tennis player from Brazil, who received a silver medal in doubles at the 2007 ParaPanAm Games, faced significant adversity after becoming paraplegic at the age of 14. Despite the accident affecting her modeling career, it fueled her determination to create inclusive projects. Her athletic background provided a gateway back into modeling when opportunities arose in adaptive sports.

I love the fortitude, vision and ethos of Samanta Bullock and have followed and supported her since the early days of her fashion events.
This article celebrates the remarkable work of Samanta Bullock and The Future of Catwalk Showcase, marking a significant step toward a more inclusive fashion industry that honors every individual’s unique contributions and perspectives.
