Fashion designer Jeff Garner showcased his captivating
‘Let them be Naked’
Spring/Summer 2024 collection at the Burlington Arcade during September’s London Fashion Week. The catwalk show was presented by
Burlington Arcade & Suzy Amis Cameron .
The collection was vibrant with radient coloring features throughout. Sustainable fashion, natural materials and methods are always a part of Jeff Garner’s collections. His use of all-natural plant and earth-based dyes hail from
foraged plants from Mr. Garner’s own farm in Tennessee, USA and the Hailes Cotswolds farm in the UK, examples of which are his use of osage bark,
indigo leaf, rasberry leaves, plankton, woad and eucalyptus.
The textiles used in this collection were hemp, silk, eco printed organic cotton, linen and
handspun tussah silk hemp netting.
The natural dyes lend themselves perfectly to the fabrics and help to create a strong yet gentle signature style that is so Jeff Garner.
The uniqueness of Jeff Garner’s Prophetik collection begins with the artist himself. Garner’s vivacity and his commitment
to creating distinctive, sustainable, plant based fashion is a reflection of his environment. Born in the
Civil War town of Franklin, Tennessee and raised on a horse farm, Garner grew with a connectedness to
nature and a peaceful understanding of the world. Currently residing part-time in the North Cotswolds, he is
directing a documentary on the toxins in fashion and the health implications called ‘Let them be Naked’
with Suzy Amis Cameron and the Robert Redford Foundation.

Mr. Garner is a favorite of film director James Cameron and wife Suzy Amis Cameron, and dresses many
of his music buddies in Tennessee from Kings of Leon, Sheryl Crow, Taylor Swift, Def Leppard and even
Esperanza Spalding for Vogue’s best dressed for the Oscars. Mr. Garner was honored by the Smithsonian
Museum in DC as one of the top 40 artists in the United States with an ostrich gown and quilted frock coat
on permanent exhibition at the Renwick Gallery at the Smithsonian. He has been named the Eco designer of
the year by GQ magazine, emerging designer of the year at Paris Fashion week, and was asked to do the
tribute collection for Her Royal Highness Princess Grace of Monaco in 2012 for the 30th anniversary in
Monaco with the royal family. In 2019 he won an Emmy for his Sustainable Fashion Documentary called
“Remastered” on Amazon Prime. He was just named Global Green’s Sustainable Ambassador and has
launched a plant based intimate’s collection called Wolf x Rose. @wolfxrose
The Aesthetes like Garner reject contemporary dress and look to the past where modern fashion uses
unnatural colors, materials and silhouettes that emerged after the industrial revolution that offend taste and
reason in the sameness and poor quality of mass produced Toxic goods.
The new collection is based on the idea that it is best to be naked than clothed in harmful synthetics. It is a call back
to nature using plant fabrics and plant dyes from his farm. Infused with the
Celtic & Picts spirit in the Cotswolds with the Native American Heritage of Tennessee we wish Jeff Garner the best of success and see his creative vision going from strength to strength.
