Today the British Fashion Council announced their Annual Programme of Talent Support, including recipients of latest grant giving initiatives and talent support schemes at the British Fashion Council Foundation event held earlier this afternoon at The Design Museum, London.
The recipients were as follows.
BFC NEWGEN 21/22 Cohort Announced.
BFC NEWGEN is the most established talent identification scheme globally and designers are identified by their creativity, strong design aesthetic and point of difference. Supporting the very best emerging talent and aims to build global, high-end fashion brands of the future.

BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund, Winner Announced.
Congratulations to Richard Quinn on winning the BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund. He will be awarded a £200,000 cash prize and a mentoring programme with access to funders, industry experts and pro-bono legal services.
BFC/GQ Designer Fashion Fund, Shortlist Announced. Established in 2013, the BFC/GQ Designer Fashion Fund aims to celebrate exceptional talent and empower businesses to play their part in positive growth through bespoke business mentoring, professional services, and awarding of a £150,000 cash prize.
The shortlisted designers for the 2022 BFC/GQ Designer Fashion Fund are:

The winner will be announced during London Fashion Week presented by Clearpay June 2022.

The BFC Fashion Trust empowers positive business growth through financial grants and mentoring. It supports projects that enable brands to think strategically and accelerate sustainable growth through finance, business support, and pro-bono legal services.

The Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design.
Congratulations to Saul Nash on winning the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design. His modern interpretation of knitwear challenges preconceived ideas surrounding sportswear, emphasising movement and performance whilst minimising waste.
