Helen Anthony unveils his LFW SS25 bold,
electrifying and captivatingly disruptive collection at the stunning Fitzroy Kimpton Hotel over London Fashion Week.
It is a collection that
captivates and engages modern audiences.
British fashion designers such as Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen amongst others have had a disruptive approach to their designs. Naeem Anthony also has this disruptive sensibility which he completes with his classic tailoring skills. The result is a powerful contemporary collection,
a celebration of fashion, artistry and creativity. This standout collection has a strong celebrity focus.
The collection has a daring sense of style with power shoulder and bold silhouettes. Naeem Anthony has an instantly recognisable spirited signature style that was present throughout. There was a vibrant palette of pinks, purples, blues, silver, reds, yellows and greens while outside of the colours, the fabrics were equally purposely made to embolden the designs. Helen Anthony proudly designs its own luxury fabrics and yarns in the UK resulting in fine wool, cashmere, satin, mesh and lace. There were various statement voluminous maxi coats in plaid and in various colours, while much of the collection was accessorised with oversized bags. Opening the show were long chainmail dresses, and mini and maxi dresses in sheer luxury fabrics . The overall collection was breathtaking and lovingly delivered in the perfect setting, with a mesmerizing background of contemporary music.
With a completely modern outlook Naeem Anthony has a strong inclusivity and genderless ethos. The catwalk showed this with a mix of models from all ages, races and genders which captured the zeitgeist.
The Helen Anthony label founded in 2015, comes from Naeem Anthony’s surname and the first name of his great grandmother, Helen Thomas. She was the first to champion Helen Anthony’s fine tailoring talents.
