Full of sunshine and joy for Spring / Summer 21, Paul Costelloe brings a spirit of optimism and new beginnings.
Iconic Costelloe, is a renowned Irish-American fashion designer who established the ‘Paul Costelloe’ fashion house under his own name. This family owned and run business has been a leader in quality fashion with the use of hand-crafted, luxurious fabrics combined with cutting edge design, innovation and creativity. Paul Costelloe works with a family owned manufacturing unit in the Ancona region of central Italy. Based at his London design studio, Paul works with notable technicians, suppliers and manufacturers to deliver collections of the highest quality, texture and comfort.
The “Golden Reflections” collection featured tailored jackets presented in soft Irish and Italian printed linens, paired with slouch trousers and hooded layers. There were soft, silk dresses layered with short cropped jackets and metallic backpacks.
The colour palette was warm with natural tones accentuated with lovely soft creams, burnt umbers and mediterranean blues. Fabrics were an artistry in weave and print with soft delicate daffodil prints, taupe stripes and indigo ferns. A collection full of playful optimism in a warm summer breeze.
His collections illustrate the true art of quality fashion design, from drawing to pattern making and toilage. Thank you very much Paul Costelloe for the wonderful fashion design sketch that you made for me on the day.
